Qlik appoints Tejas Mehta as Senior VP and General Manager for MEA

Qlik, a global data analytics and AI-backed platform, has announced the appointment of Tejas Mehta as Senior Vice President and General Manager for the Middle East and Africa (MEA), effective August 2024.
In his new role, Tejas brings around 30 years of industry leadership experience, leading large, cross-functional teams globally. He most recently worked with Sycomp as Vice President & General Manager, Europe, Middle East & Africa. In previous roles, he served IBM for over 25 years, including as VP of Global Systems Integrators, VP & GM of North East, Central and West Africa, and Senior Director of Enterprise Sales for the MEA region. With his deep understanding of AI, data integration, and analytics, coupled with his ability to translate technical solutions into business value, he will lead the company’s commitment to growth and innovation in the MEA region and bolster its leadership position in AI, data integration, and analytics.
On the academic front, Tejas holds an MBA and a Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Illinois Chicago, and a Bachelor’s degree in Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
