
Syarah elevates Abdullah Alzubaidi to Director of People Experience & Shared Services role
Leading e-commerce platform, Syarah has elevated Abdullah Alzubaidi to a new role as the Director of People Experience and Shared Services, with immediate effect.
Announcing his promotion, Abdullah posted, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Director People Experience & Shared Services at Syarah!” He will be spearheading comprehensive people experience strategies to improve job satisfaction, engagement, and retention. He will also oversee end-to-end recruitment operations, department-specific hiring strategies, and act as a strategic partner to leadership and stakeholders to align HR & people agenda with business agenda.
Abdullah had joined the company in 2024 as the Director of Talent Acquisition & Development, handling responsiblities including Syarah’s talent acquisition strategy, employer branding, talent development, performance management, succession planning, and diversity and inclusion.
He holds over 18 years of HR experience across the financial services, recruitment, professional development, and technology sectors. Before his appointment, he worked with a government organisation as a Senior Executive Recruitment Consultant and Talent Acquisition Manager.
In his previous roles, Abdullah served as a Training and Development Consultant at Victory Training and Development Institute, Senior Vice President of Talent Acquisition & Relations at tiqmo, and Talent Recruitment Manager at MRSOOL. He also worked with Wright State University and Riyad Bank at the beginning of his career.

On the academic front, Abdullah holds a BSc degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) from Wright State University, along with diplomas in HR Practices and Strategic People Management from CIPD. He also holds several certifications in HR excellence from CIPD, The KPI Institute, Maximus, and Western Michigan University.
