Tibbiyah’s CEO Yasser Khattab resigns; Christophe Lala named as CEO & Mohammad Khoudli as MD
Yasser Khattab, who was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Arabian International Healthcare Holding Company (Tibbiyah), effective September 2024, has stepped down from the position, citing personal reasons, according to the latest company disclosure on Tadawul.
Tibbiyah stated, “…the company announces the resignation of its current Chief Executive Officer, Yasser Khattab, which was accepted on the evening of January 7, 2025, and will be effective from the same date. The resignation was due to personal reasons.”
Additionally, Tibbiyah announced the appointment of Christophe Yvon Lala as the new CEO, effective March 2025, and named Mohammad Omar Idrees Khoudli as Managing Director to oversee CEO responsibilities until the new CEO takes over. Khoudli currently serves as a board member and previously held the position of CEO for Europe, Africa, and KSA from 2015 to 2019. He brings over four decades of leadership experience and global expertise, gained through exposure to several cultures and markets, to his new role.
The company stated, “Tibbiyah also announced the appointment of its new Chief Executive Officer, Christophe Yvon Lala, effective March 1, 2025. The appointment decision was issued by Tibbiyah's Board of Directors on January 7, 2025. To facilitate the transition during the period between the current Chief Executive Officer's resignation effective date and the new Chief Executive Officer's assumption of duties, the decision was made to appoint Mohammad Omar Idrees Khoudli, a current Board member and former Chief Executive Officer of Tibbiyah, as Managing Director to carry out the Chief Executive Officer's duties effective January 8, 2025. This appointment decision was issued by Tibbiyah's Board of Directors on January 7, 2025.”
In his new role, Christophe brings over three decades of healthcare industry leadership experience. He currently serves as the President and founder of MedTech Consulting. Previously, he worked with GE Healthcare, holding key leadership positions, including General Manager for Western Europe, General Manager for Patient Monitoring Solutions for EMEA, and General Manager for the MRI business across MEA, Central Asia, and the CIS. With strong experience in healthcare entrepreneurship and strategic advisory, Christophe is set to drive growth and innovation for Tibbiyah.

Before joining Tibbiyah, Yasser served as the CEO of Tamer Healthcare. He was appointed CEO of Tibbiyah after the former CEO, Alaa Ahmed Ameen, announced his resignation in July 2024, following over five years of service. Ameen has not yet announced his next career move.
