Ajinomoto Group Turkey appoints Nilgün Atıcı as CHRO

Ajinomoto Group, Turkey’s leading F&B manufacturer, has appointed Nilgün Atıcı as the Chief Human Resources Officer, effective October 2024.
Announcing her new role on LinkedIn, Nilgün posted, "I’m happy to share that I have started a new position as Chief Human Resources Officer at Ajinomoto Türkiye!"
In her new role, Nilgün brings nearly three decades of HR leadership experience across the manufacturing, insurance, and consulting sectors in Turkey. She most recently served as the HR Director for Turkey, Africa, the Middle East, and India at GRUNDFOS, where she oversaw HR strategic management, leadership development, culture and performance, and all initiatives related to talent lifecycle management for over 11 years.
In her previous roles, she worked with Pilentum HR Consultancy & Coaching, Fortis Pension & Life, and Toyota, playing pivotal roles in transforming organisational culture, building high-performance teams, and innovating the HR function.

On the academic front, Nilgün holds an MBA from Sabanci University, a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the Middle East Technical University, and a certification in Strategic Business Management from the University of California. With strong expertise in employee engagement, compensation and benefits, learning and development, employee relations, HRIS, HR transformation, change management, and organisational culture, she is set to transform Ajinomoto into a high-performance culture.
