Estithmar Holding appoints Juan Leon as new Group CEO
Qatar-based Estithmar Holding has announced a key leadership transition, with Mohammed bin Bader Al-Sada stepping down from the role of Group Chief Executive Officer and Juan Leon taking over his responsibilities with immediate effect.
Mohammed joined the group in September 2023 and has played a key role in its strategic and sustainable growth over the last two years. The CEO transition was approved during a Board of Directors meeting held on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. While the reason for outgoing Group CEO Mohammed’s resignation has not been disclosed, the Board extended its wishes to him, stating, “Gratitude to Mr. Mohammed bin Badr Al-Sada. During his tenure as Group CEO, the company achieved numerous milestones, featuring an increasing investment value for shareholders, geographical expansion, diversified investments, and a remarkable leap in the company’s financial performance.”
In his new role, Juan brings over 25 years of leadership experience across IT, media, and key commercial sectors. He most recently worked with Mannai Corporation as the President of ICT Group & EXCOM for over eight years. Previously, he served as the Commercial Director & EXCOM at Atos and the Commercial Director at MSL Group.

With core competencies in sales, operations, compliance, and governance—consistently driving business growth, strategic transformation, and operational excellence—Juan is set to spearhead the group’s strategic growth, expansion, and high-performing teams globally.
Welcoming Juan to the leadership team, the Board of Directors “expressed their confidence in Mr. Leon’s appointment, emphasizing his ability to lead the company through a new phase of growth, building upon the remarkable achievements of Estithmar Holding since its inception.”
