GO Telecom appoints Faris AlZahrani as Vice President of HR
Etihad Atheeb Telecom, popularly known as GO Telecom, has announced the appointment of Faris AlZahrani as Vice President of Human Resources, effective October 2024.
“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Vice President of Human Resources at GO Telecom!” said Faris.
Faris brings over two decades of HR leadership experience to his new role at the leading telecom company in the Middle East. Most recently, he served as Vice President of People and Culture at a confidential company, where he oversaw and managed people & culture, HR transformation, HR strategy, employee engagement, shared services, facilities management, and stakeholders management for over four years.
In his previous roles, he served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Zain KSA for over four years and held key roles at Saudi Telecom Company for more than 12 years.

On the academic front, Faris completed a short-term MBA program at Management Centre Europe and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from Lakehurst University. His core competencies include HR management, employee relations, payroll management, corporate policies, employee engagement and culture, and government relations.
