Mohammad will lead recruitment and HR operations, oversee government relations, and act as a strategic HR advisor—aligning people strategies with business goals and driving talent, planning, and performance initiatives.

Pan-GCC universal bank – Gulf International Bank has promoted Mohammad Al Dubaikel to the role of Head of HR Business Partnering & Employee Services with immediate effect.

Sharing the news on LinkedIn, Mohammad posted: “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head of HR Business Partnering & Employee Services at Gulf International Bank!”

Mohammad joined GIB in 2021 as the Head of Recruitment and has most recently held the position of Head of Recruitment & HR Operations since January 2025. In his new role, he will continue to lead the recruitment and HR operations departments, while also overseeing government relations—liaising with authorities to ensure legal compliance and support employee services—and HR business partnering, as a strategic advisor to business leaders, aligning people strategies with organisational goals, and driving workforce planning, talent development, and performance initiatives.

Before joining GIB, Mohammad served leading organisations in key roles including, Al Khozama as the Director of Talent Acquisition and Onboarding, General Authority for Military Industries as Talent Acquisition Lead, and Saudi Aramco as Group Lead - Expatriate Employment, HR Analyst, and Supervisor Planning & Support Services. Earlier in his career, he worked with SABIC as the Recruitment Specialist.

On the academic front, Mohammad holds an MSc in Labour & Industrial Relations from MSIR, West Virginia University, a BS in Management from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, and a professional certificate in HR Management from Texas A&M University.

Mohammad is an emerging HR leader who embodies a thoughtful and empathetic leadership style. He understands that the role of HR is not confined to serving a single stakeholder; rather, HR is the custodian of alignment—ensuring that individual aspirations, team capabilities, and business objectives do not compete, but converge.

He resonates with how HR has evolved from being seen merely as a workplace cheerleader or policy enforcer to becoming a driver of inclusive and diverse cultures built on care, trust, resilience, and rhythm—aligning the people agenda with the organisation’s growth and goals.

And to achieve this, Mohammad will be working closely with the leadership team of GIB across the GCC, including the recently appointed CEO in Saudi Arabia, Khaled Abbas, and the CEO in Bahrain, Sara Abdulhadi.
