JODC appoints Abdulrahman Bajunaid as new CEO
Jabal Omar Development, a leading real estate company, has announced the appointment of Abdulrahman Bajunaid as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
The company stated in a filing on Tadawul: “...Board of Directors resolution dated 19/11/2024G corresponding to 17/5/1446H, to appoint Mr. Abdulrahman Abdulqader Bajunaid as CEO of the Company, effective from 1/1/2025G...”
Bajunaid brings over two decades of leadership experience across the real estate and banking sectors to his new role. Most recently, he served as CEO of Al Jomaih Energy and Water Co. since 2022. Prior to this, he held prominent roles such as CEO of Bin Laden International Holding Group, board advisor at Ajlan & Bros for Trade and Real Estate Investments, CEO of RAFAL Real Estate Development Company, and Country Head at Gulf International Bank. He also served as Chief Operating Officer at ACWA Holding and began his career with Saudi Hollandi Bank and Samba Financial Group.
In May 2024, JODC announced the resignation of Khalid Mohammed Al Amoudi as CEO and appointed Saad Mushabab bin Aiban as CEO. However, Bajunaid has now taken over the position, and no updates regarding Saad’s transition into a new role have been shared. Saad joined JODC in 2021 and served as the executive CEO advisor and later as Chief Project Manager Officer.

In June 2024, the company also announced the appointment of Saeed Mohammed Al Ghamdi as Chairman of the Board and Thaleb Ali Alshamrani as Vice Chairman.
