Maersk names Lisa Park as the new Managing Director for UAE

Maersk, a leading shipping and logistics company, has announced the appointment of Lisa Park as its new Managing Director for the United Arab Emirates (UAE), effective from October 1, 2024.
In her new role, Lisa brings over two decades of global industry leadership experience. She will also lead business operations and local teams across Oman and Qatar. Before her appointment, she served as the Regional Head of Sales for the Middle East, Indian Subcontinent, and Africa at A.P. Moller - Maersk. She joined the logistics company in 2012, holding key roles that drove market expansion and revenue diversification, while advocating for a diverse and inclusive work environment. Prior to this, she worked with APM Terminals as the Regional Project Manager and with Expeditors International as the Ocean Product Manager. She began her career with Maersk Line in 2002.
Welcoming Lisa to the new leadership role, Richard Morgan, Managing Director for the Indian Subcontinent, Middle East, and Africa, said, “With a comprehensive understanding of our business and customers, and a keen ability to mobilise strong teams, I am confident that under Lisa's leadership, we will continue to achieve new growth milestones in the UAE, Oman, and Qatar.”
