Mohamed Wadah joins F&B company Farzana as Head of People

Wadah brings over 15 years of HR experience across diverse sectors, and is set to lead Farzana’s people toward the next phase of growth.

Farzana, a leading food and beverage company in Dubai, has appointed Mohamed Wadah as the Head of People, effective November 2024.

Announcing his new role on LinkedIn, Wadah posted, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head of People at Farzana!”

In his new role, Wadah brings over 15 years of HR experience across diverse sectors in the Middle East. He most recently served the Prime Group as the Group Human Resources Manager, overseeing various aspects of the HR function, including performance management, employee engagement and experience, labour relations, HR analytics, workforce learning and development, and talent acquisition. He announced his departure by expressing gratitude to his previous organisations and colleagues, stating, “It was an honour to be a member of this great organisation. I will never forget the wonderful memories with my amazing colleagues.”

In his previous roles, Wadah worked with Bin Dhaen Holding as the HR & Administration Manager and with Al Ashram Contracting Company as the Senior Executive of Human Resources. He began his HR career with Rawahel Al-Mashaer Co. and Bristol-Myers Squibb.

On the academic front, Wadah is a certified CIPD professional and holds several certifications in HRM, People Analytics, and Compensation and Benefits. He also completed a diploma in English Literature from The American University in Cairo and a bachelor’s degree in Tourism and Travel Services Management from Minia University.
