
Remat Al-Riyadh Development Co. appoints Abrar AlMuhaidib as Senior Director - People & Culture
Riyadh Municipality’s development subsidiary – Remat Al-Riyadh – has promoted Abrar AlMuhaidib to the role of Senior Director of People and Culture, with immediate effect.
Sharing the news on LinkedIn, Abrar posted, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Senior Director of People and Culture at Remat Al-Riyadh Development Co.!”
Abrar joined the development company in 2023 and has been managing the entire HR function, including performance management, rewards, talent acquisition, organizational development, culture, and engagement, in the capacity of Human Capital Director. She played a key role in advancing a high-performance culture within the company through her initiatives focused on enhancing human capabilities development, attracting and retaining highly skilled talent, and inspiring and engaging the workforce to build a sustainable workplace.
Prior to this, Abrar worked with Red Sea Global for nearly five years in key roles, including Associate HR Director, where she oversaw areas such as change management, HR transformation, talent management, and performance management. Previously, she served as HR Shared Services Lead at Sadara Chemical Company and as an Associate Consultant at Aramco.
On the academic front, Abrar holds a master’s degree in Management Information Technology from the University of Nottingham and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from King Faisal University. She has also completed key certifications in international leadership, human capital management, and HR business partnership from leading institutions.

Abrar will be working closely with Abdulgader AlAmoudi, who was recently appointed by the company as Chief People and Shared Services Officer. Together, they will focus on the strategic aspects of HR, people, and culture, aligning with the company’s growth agenda and national initiatives.
