Siemens Healthineers elevates Raghu Chandrashekar as Head of HR - EMEA Varian

Siemens Healthineers, a leading medtech company, has promoted Raghu Chandrashekar to Head of Human Resources for Varian Medical Systems – Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), with immediate effect.
Sharing the news on LinkedIn, Raghu posted, “I’m thrilled to join the Varian EMEA team as HR leader this December… The Varian EMEA leadership team gave me a warm and truly heartening welcome. From my very first interactions, the passion to lead with purpose was tangible, and I was deeply impressed by how readily the leadership embraced new perspectives and ideas. Raghu joined Siemens Healthineers in 2011 and has served in key roles, including Chief Manager of HR, Senior VP & Head of HR, and Global HR Partner. He brings over two decades of HR leadership experience to his new role. Prior to this, he worked with ABB as an HR professional and with Flextronics Design Ltd as Head of HR.
On the academic front, Raghu holds a PGDM in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, India, and an MBA in HR from TA Pai Management Institute. He also holds certifications in Myers-Briggs (MBTI), which enhances employee engagement programs by fostering a deeper understanding of people, teams, and organisations, as well as a Wave & Aptitude certification from Saville Consulting International.
