Allianz Egypt, a leading insurance firm, has announced the appointment of Charles Tawdros as the new CEO, effective immediately.

This appointment is part of the company’s expansion efforts to bolster its position in the insurance sector. Charles brings over two decades of industry leadership experience to his new role. He joined Allianz Egypt in 2007 and has held several leadership roles, including Managing Director of Allianz Life Assurance Company in Egypt, Chief Financial Officer, and Head of Allianz MENA for Life and Health Products.

Additionally, Charles serves as the Chairman of the Executive Council for Personal & Capital Redemption Insurance at the Egyptian Insurance Federation. “Renowned for his leadership and strategic foresight, Mr. Tawdros is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of governance and sustainability. His career is marked by notable achievements in driving growth and innovation across all his leadership positions at Allianz Egypt,” stated the company in an official announcement.

On the academic front, Charles holds a bachelor degree in business administration from Cairo University, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Actuarial Sciences from Leicester University.
