AWPT appoints Tamim Alkhalifah as CHRO

Alkhorayef Water & Power Technologies (AWPT) has appointed Tamim Alkhalifah as the Chief Human Resources Officer.
Announcing his new role on LinkedIn, Tamim posted, “I’m excited to share that I've started a new position as Chief Human Resources Officer at Alkhorayef Water & Power Technologies (AWPT)!”
In his new role, Tamim brings around 15 years of HR leadership experience across the public sector in Saudi Arabia. He aims to create a positive and healthy work environment that fosters employee engagement, productivity, and innovation. He also joined the AWPT Nomination & Remuneration Committee as Secretary in July.
Before his appointment, Tamim served as the General Manager of Human Capital at the Ministry of Health Saudi Arabia, where he oversaw compensation and benefits, policies and procedures, performance management, talent management, organisation design, and HRIS. In his previous roles, he worked with National Water Company as the General Manager of Human Capital Development and with Arabian Medical Express Services as the HR & Admin Manager and Advisor. He began his career as a Credit Analyst with Samba Financial Group.

On the academic front, Tamim holds a Master of Science in Finance from Seattle University and a Bachelor's degree in MIS from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals. He also holds a certificate in Leading Innovation Through Design Thinking from the National University of Singapore. His core competencies include recruitment, employee relations, workplace engagement, skill development, people management, performance reviews, talent management, culture transformation, compensation and benefits, and HR transformation.
