Marico Egypt, a leading beauty and wellness company, has appointed Nouran Hassan as the Head of Human Resources, effective September 2024.

In her new role, Nouran brings around 12 years of extensive HR expertise across the emerging markets of Egypt. She will be responsible for leading the HR department and overseeing HR and people initiatives for the company, while strengthening the work environment from within. Before joining Marico Egypt, she served as the SC Human Resources Business Partner at Kellogg Company for over a year. In her previous roles, she worked as an HR Business Partner at bioMérieux, HR Manager at Vegas Oil & Gas S.A. for over eight years, and HR Advisor at Vodafone Egypt. She began her career at CIC - Canadian International College as a PR Coordinator.

On the academic front, Nouran holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and International Trade from Misr International University, a Postgraduate Diploma in HRM, and certifications in HR from The American University in Cairo. Her core competencies include strategic HR, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, HR policies, personnel management, HR operations, and HR transformation.
