Strategic Gears appoints Ammar Madani as CHRO

Strategic Gears, a Saudi Arabia-based management consultancy firm, has announced the appointment of Ammar Madani as Chief Human Resources Officer, effective July 2024.
In his new role, Ammar brings nearly 20 years of HR leadership experience. He will spearhead the firm’s ambitious human capital agenda, with responsibilities for talent management, performance management, and learning & development. He will also lead recruitment efforts as the company aims to reach a new headcount milestone this year.
Prior to his appointment, Ammar worked with Procter & Gamble for over nine years in key roles, including HR Director and Senior HR Manager. He has gained extensive experience in the talent lifecycle domain, leading significant hiring campaigns and supporting the development of high-performing teams, among other responsibilities. He has also held various roles with King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, Tam Development, and Alsharq Newspaper.
On the academic front, Ammar holds a Chief Human Resources Program certificate from Wharton Executive Education and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Systems Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals. He also possesses certifications in Mastering Talent Management: Hiring, Engaging, and Rewarding A+ Talent, Corporate Governance: Maximising Your Effectiveness in the Boardroom, P&G Incident Management Investigation Contributor, and ASIS’s Professional Certified Investigator.

In addition to Ammar, the Riyadh-based consulting firm has also appointed Marwa Abdel Qader as Head of Marketing to lead the firm’s market expansion. She brings a wealth of expertise in marketing strategy, communications, client relationship management, brand management, data analysis, and customer satisfaction analysis, all gained during her dozen years in banking. Marwa will oversee the firm’s marketing and branding efforts and shape communications strategies, while working closely with the firm’s partners and teams.
