The Arab Energy Fund appoints Vicky Bhatia as new CFO

The Arab Energy Fund (TAEF), a leading financial services firm in MENA, has announced the appointment of Vicky Bhatia as Chief Financial Officer, effective June 2024.
In his new role, Bhatia brings nearly three decades of global leadership experience. He will drive TAEF’s finance, treasury, and operations functions. In his previous roles, he worked with ZAND Bank in the UAE as the Chief Financial Officer and Noor Bank in the UAE as the CFO. He also served Standard Chartered Bank across Singapore and the UAE for more than 17 years in key roles including Head of Global Process Management, Head of Country Finance for Singapore, Head of Finance Change Management, and CFO for Africa Wholesale Banking.
On the academic front, Bhatia holds an MBA degree in Finance from the University of Missouri. His core competencies include strategic thinking, finance transformation, banking, risk management, corporate finance, risk analysis, and audits.
