Riyadh Chamber of Commerce & Industry has appointed Jehad Alaskar as the Chief Human Resources Officer, effective immediately.
Announcing his new role on LinkedIn, Jehad posted, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief Human Resources Officer at Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry.”
In his new role, Jehad brings over two decades of HR leadership experience across the food and beverages, telecommunications, and government sectors. He joined Riyadh Chamber of Commerce & Industry in 2022 as the Human Resources Director. He will implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall Chamber strategy, overseeing HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training and development, employee relations, compensation and benefits, labour law policies and procedures, and HR compliance.
Previously, Jehad spent nearly 15 years at the Communications, Space & Technology Commission in key roles including Talent Development Director and Senior HR Specialist. He also worked as an HR Specialist at the Saudi Food & Drug Authority and as a Recruitment Supervisor at Almarai. Before starting his HR leadership journey, he served as a Newscaster for a Saudi Arabian Channel under the Ministry of Media.

Academically, Jehad holds a Master of Science degree in HR Management and Development from the University of Salford, and a Bachelor's degree in Bilingual Translation from King Saud University. He also completed a postgraduate diploma in leadership from Emeritus (offered by MIT, Columbia Business School, and Tuck Executive Education at Dartmouth). Additionally, he holds certifications in Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute, HR Management and Analytics from the Wharton School, Executive Development Program from INSEAD, Certified Human Resources Professional from Meirc Training & Consulting, Professional Certificate in Personnel Practice from CIPD Qualifications, and Certified Change Practitioner from Prosci.
