Provisions have been made to include definitions for "resignation" and "outsourcing," to clarify labor regulations.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) has announced that the amendments made to the Labour Law will be effective from February 19, 2025 onwards.

The amendments are aligned with Cabinet Decision No. (117) issued on 2nd February 1446H, pursuant to Royal Decree No. (44) dated 8th February 1446H. MHRSD stated, “The aim is to enhance job stability and improve labor market efficiency to meet the needs of the private sector.”
