entourage, a Dubai-based marketing and events company, has appointed Karen Beggs as the Chief Human Resources Officer, effective August 2024.
In her new role, Karen brings nearly 20 years of HR leadership experience across the Middle East. With core expertise in strategic HR leadership, change management, organisational design, culture transformation, and operational management, she will be responsible for shaping the company’s culture, values, and forward-looking vision as part of its growth strategy. Recently, as part of its Middle East expansion, the company has placed a strong emphasis on people and culture, focusing on revitalising the work environment and reinforcing its values and future-oriented vision.
Before her appointment, Karen served as the CHRO at The Entertainer, where she oversaw global HR strategy and cultivated a high-performance culture. Her previous roles include Head of HR at Prisme, Director of Talent Management at Knowledge Group, and Head of HR & Operations at Wired. She also worked with Innovative HR Solutions Dubai and Lidl in the UK.
Welcoming Karen to the leadership team, Mohammed Tayem, Founding CEO of Entourage, said, “I am glad that Karen is going to lead our most important vertical.
