The airline hired over 1,000 crew members by May 2024 and is planning to add 1,000 more as part of its global recruitment drive.

Etihad Airways, UAE’s leading airline, has announced its global recruitment campaign on the occasion of World Cabin Crew Day 2024.

As part of this recruitment campaign, the airline plans to recruit more than 1,000 cabin crew workers by December 2024. The initiative will support the continued growth strategy as the airline successfully hired nearly 1,000 crew members this year.

Candidates interested in pursuing a career with Etihad Airways can either attend an Open Day or apply online at the official website. Thereafter, they will be shortlisted through either in-person or virtual interviews, ensuring candidates from all over the world can participate in the recruitment process with a flexible interview scheduling option. To ensure the industry’s best talent is part of the cabin crew, the airline is offering training at Etihad Aviation Training’s Zayed Campus.

As part of additional perks along with a competitive package, the airline said, “Cabin crew are provided with fully-furnished modern accommodation, medical insurance, allowances, and have access to discounts on dining, shopping, leisure activities, car hire, and more. Cabin crew also enjoy fantastic travel benefits and have access to a wide range of destinations. Etihad offers excellent career progression with 31 percent of cabin crew members promoted within the past 12 months. A number were also promoted to positions in the corporate division located at the airline’s headquarters, to pursue careers in marketing, guest experience, network operations, aviation training, and finance.”
